Warranty

What we stand behind after the van leaves

Two windows, both starting the day of the repair, both written on your invoice. No registration card, no online form, no claim number to chase.

A steam oven reservoir held steady against the front of its bay, the seal face turned toward the light

Labor

90 days

on the work we carried out

Parts

365 days

on every component we fitted

Parts policy

Genuine OEM parts only. Aftermarket burner caps, blower wheels and igniters cost less and corrode sooner in this air, so they are not fitted here — which is also what makes a year-long parts term possible.

What is covered

The labor on the repair we did

90 days on labor from the date of the visit. If the same fault returns on the same part inside that window, we come back and there is no second diagnostic and no labor charge.

The part we fitted

365 days from the date of the visit. A component that fails inside a year is replaced under the parts term, whether it failed on the bench or in your kitchen.

The return trip

A warranty visit inside the covered window carries no travel charge to any address in the posted service area. You are not charged to have us correct our own work.

What is not

  • A different fault on the same appliance. A new symptom is a new diagnosis, and it is charged as one.
  • Corrosion damage that continues after the repair. We can replace a pitted blower wheel; we cannot stop the air it runs in. That is what the upkeep notes are for.
  • Damage from a surge, a flood, a lightning event or a power cut after the repair date. A control board killed by a storm is a new failure, not a returning one.
  • Parts you supplied, or work another company did before or after ours. We warrant what we fitted and what we did.
  • An appliance that has been opened, modified or worked on by someone else since our visit.
  • Consumables and wear items — filters, lamps, gaskets past their service life, grease-laden baffles that need cleaning rather than replacing.

Making a claim

Three steps, and the first one is a phone call to the same number as everything else.

  1. 01

Call and say it is a warranty visit

Give the date of the original repair and the appliance. We keep the estimate and the part number on file against your address.

  2. 02

We look at the same fault first

If the symptom matches what we repaired, the visit is covered from the moment we walk in. If it turns out to be a different failure, we tell you before any billable work starts.

  3. 03

We correct it or replace the part

Under the parts term the replacement is genuine OEM, the same as the original fit. Genuine OEM parts only.

This warranty is given by us, on Wolf cooking appliances we have repaired in Jacksonville Beach and the neighbouring beaches. It is separate from, and additional to, any remaining manufacturer coverage on your appliance — check that with the manufacturer directly, because we cannot administer it. Book the visit that carries it

Tell us the model and what it is doing. We come to the island, find the fault, and put the number in writing.
